Donating and shopping at Goodwill does so much to help change lives of people in our community. One way is through our Good Neighbor Program. Each year the Good Neighbor Program helps over 15,000 people in need. The program works with area schools and local not-for-profits to identify children and adults who are in desperate need of clothing or household items.
Whether helping put coats and warm clothes on roughly 2,000 homeless children in the city, providing the basics to a family who lost everything in a house fire, or providing an outfit that gives confidence to secure a job that will change an individual's future, Goodwill's Good Neighbor Program is here to help.
"I just wanted to say thank you so much for helping me out with the Goodwill gift cards. I actually got the job that I needed the dress clothes for! I felt like a brand new person in the interview. I literally had no idea what I was going to wear, so this made all the difference. Thank you Goodwill!"

that helps people enter the community after serving time in jail.
Goodwill's Good Neighbor Program also supports our local Veterans who have sacrificed so much and now need our community's support as they rebuild their lives.
Goodwill's Good Neighbor Program is only possible because of the generosity of Goodwill donors. That generosity enables Goodwill to help those in our community that are in real need of a "Good Neighbor" to help them through a difficult time.
